And Moses said unto Hobab； the son of Raguel the Midianite； Moses' father in law； We are journeying unto the place of which the LORD said； I will give it you： e thou with us； and we will do thee good： for the LORD hath spoken good concerning Israel。
10：30何巴回答说，我不去。我要回本地本族那里去。
And he said unto him； I will not go； but I will depart to mine own land； and to my kindred。
10：31摩西说，求你不要离开我们。因为你知道我们要在旷野安营，你可以当作我们的眼目。
And he said； Leave us not； I pray thee； forasmuch as thou knowest how we are to encamp in the wilderness； and thou mayest be to us instead of eyes。
10：32你若和我们同去，将来耶和华有什么好处待我们，我们也必以什么好处待你。
And it shall be； if thou go with us； yea； it shall be； that what goodness the LORD shall do unto us； the same will we do unto thee。
10：33以色列人离开耶和华的山，往前行了三天的路程。耶和华的约柜在前头行了三天的路程，为他们寻梢安歇的地方。
And they departed from the mount of the LORD three days' journey： and the ark of the covenant of the LORD went before them in the three days' journey； to search out a resting place for them。
10：34他们拔营往前行，日间有耶和华的云彩在他们以上。
And the cloud of the LORD was upon them by day； when they went out of the camp。
10：35约柜往前行的时候，摩西就说，耶和华阿，求你兴起。愿你的仇敌四散。愿恨你的人从你面前逃跑。
And it came to pass； when the ark set forward； that Moses said； Rise up； LORD； and let thine enemies be scattered； and let them that hate thee flee before thee。
10：36约柜停住的时候，他就说，耶和华阿，求你回到以色列的千万人中。
And when it rested； he said； Return； O LORD； unto the many thousands of Israel。

11：1众百姓发怨言，他们的恶语达到耶和华的耳中。耶和华听见了就怒气发作，使火在他们中间焚烧，直烧到营的边界。
And when the people plained； it displeased the LORD： and the LORD heard it； and his anger was kindled； and the fire of the LORD burnt among them； and consumed them that were in the uttermost parts of the camp。
11：2百姓向摩西哀求，摩西祈求耶和华，火就熄了。
And the people cried unto Moses； and when Moses prayed unto the LORD； the fire was quenched。
11：3那地方便叫作他备拉，因为耶和华的火烧在他们中间。
And he called the name of the place Taberah： because the fire of the LORD burnt among them。
11：4他们中间的闲杂人大起贪欲的心。以色列人又哭号说，谁给我们肉吃呢，
And the mixt multitude that was among them fell a lusting： and the children of Israel also wept again； and said； Who shall give us flesh to eat？
11：5我们记得，在埃及的时候不花钱就吃鱼，也记得有黄瓜，西瓜，韭菜，葱，蒜。
We remember the fish； which we did eat in Egypt freely； the cucumbers； and the melons； and the leeks； and the onions； and the garlick：
11：6现在我们的心血枯竭了，除这吗哪以外，在我们眼前并没有别的东西。
But now our soul is dried away： there is nothing at all； beside this manna； before our eyes。
11：7这吗哪彷佛芫荽子，又好像珍珠。
And the manna was as coriander seed； and the colour thereof as the colour of bdellium。
11：8百姓周围行走，把吗哪收起来，或用磨推，或用臼捣，煮在锅中，又作成饼，滋味好像新油。
And the people went about； and gathered it； and ground it in mills； or beat it in a mortar； and baked it in pans； and made cakes of it： and the taste of it was as the taste of fresh oil。
11：9夜间露水降在营中，吗哪也随着降下。
And when the dew fell upon the camp in the night； the manna fell upon it。
11：10摩西听见百姓各在各家的帐棚门口哭号。耶和华的怒气便大发作，摩西就不喜悦。
Then Moses heard the people weep throughout their families； every man in the door of his tent： and the anger of the LORD was kindled greatly； Moses also was displeased。
11：11摩西对耶和华说，你为何苦待仆人，我为何不在你眼前蒙恩，竟把这管理百姓的重任加在我身上呢，
And Moses said unto the LORD； Wherefore hast thou afflicted thy servant？ and wherefore have I not found favour in thy sight； that thou layest the burden of all this people upon me？
11：12这百姓岂是我怀的胎，岂是我生下来的呢，你竟对我说，把他们抱在怀里，如养育之父抱吃奶的孩子，直抱到你起誓应许给他们祖宗的地去。
Have I conceived all this people？ have I begotten them； that thou shouldest say unto me； Carry them in thy bosom； as a nursing father beareth the sucking child； unto the land which thou swarest unto their fathers？
11：13我从哪里得肉给这百姓吃呢，他们都向我哭号说，你给我们肉吃吧。
Whence should I have flesh to give unto all this people？ for they weep unto me； saying； Give us flesh； that we may eat。
11：14管理这百姓的责任太重了，我独自担当不起。
I am not able to bear all this people alone； because it is too heavy for me。
11：15你这样待我，我若在你眼前蒙恩，求你立时将我杀了，不叫我见自己的苦情。
And if thou deal thus with me； kill me； I pray thee； out of hand； if I have found favour in thy sight； and let me not see my wretchedness。
11：16耶和华对摩西说，你从以色列的长老中招聚七十个人，就是你所知道作百姓的长老和官长的，到我这里来，领他们到会幕前，使他们和你一同站立。
And the LORD said unto Moses； Gather unto me seventy men of the elders of Israel； whom thou knowest to be the elders of the people； and officers over them； and bring them unto the tabernacle of the congregation； that they may stand there with thee。
11：17我要在那里降临，与你说话，也要把降于你身上的灵分赐他们，他们就和你同当这管百姓的重任，免得你独自担当。
And I will e down and talk with thee there： and I will take of the spirit which is upon thee； and will put it upon them； and they shall bear the burden of the people with thee； that thou bear it not thyself alone。
11：18又要对百姓说，你们应当自洁，预备明天吃肉，因为你们哭号说，谁给我们肉吃。我们在埃及很好。这声音达到了耶和华的耳中，所以他必给你们肉吃。
And say thou unto the people； Sanctify yourselves against to morrow； and ye shall eat flesh： for ye have wept in the ears of the LORD； saying； Who shall give us flesh to eat？ for it was well with us in Egypt： therefore the LORD will give you flesh； and ye shall eat。
11：19你们不止吃一天，两天，五天，十天，二十天，
Ye shall not eat one day； nor two days； nor five days； neither ten days； nor twenty days；
11：20要吃一个整月，甚至肉从你们鼻孔里喷出来，使你们厌恶了，因为你们厌弃住在你们中间的耶和华，在他面前哭号说，
